Good morning!
What is my boy doing now:rolleyes: AMPS 61. He came down yesterday during the last half of his AM cycle but at +3 last night he showed no inclination that there would be movement. With much nervousness about it I gave him half higher carb and half regular food then shot 3.5u

I went out, DH tested at +1 101, no food. Tested at +2, 63, DH gave a tbsp of higher carb. And now I'm home to monitor (DH had a commitment but I would want to be here anyways).

I was just about to increase this morning.....thought about doing it last night but when I saw he had dropped I decided to wait til morning.

Boomer didn't eat much last night; he got me up not too long after I went to bed and I gave him some more of his current favourite so he had 4 foods to choose from last night. In the middle of the night I woke up to find him laying beside me; he hasn't done that for several weeks. And early this morning he woke me up with a head butt; I put my hand on him and he laid down beside me. Maybe he was trying to tell me something.

But several days of high cycles followed by good numbers for one or two cycles isn't acceptable but I really don't know what to do.

Yesterday, with Boomer's permission, we went out for a while and drove to a provincial park about 45 minutes away. Last year I saw my first Red-Headed Woodpecker there. I was hoping to see it again and I did, within a few seconds of getting there! It cooperated and allowed me several different shots as it moved from tree to tree!

Awesome start for Boomer today! and I love love LOVE the woodpecker pic!

While I was in Jasper and Yoho I actually saw so many different birds (which I definitely cannot name) and I thought of you! I even tried to get a pic of one that was particularly interesting to show you, but alas I am loud and clumsy and scared the poor thing away ;)

Have a great day Judy :D

early this morning he woke me up with a head butt;

Usually Ravan drops lowest 3:30 to 4:30 am so that's when I get up to check him. Several days ago he woke me up just after 2am. I told him to go back to sleep it wasn't time yet.( He was very persistent.)
I reluctantly got up & tested, sure enough he was down to 46!! Now when Ravan wakes me up I don't complain! He knows better than me when he NEEDS to be tested! :eek:

Boomer's look'in for a reduction :D

Another great Photo!

Usually if Boomer is going to work the juice it is evident by +3. Ravan is on Lev I think....which generally has a later nadir. This morning's AMPS sure was a surprise!
Yes, Boomer did wake me once quite a few nights ago with a very loud and persistent cry and I tested and he was low. Early this morning was just a head butt then he laid down beside me.

+7 47 gave some more higher carb food and other food
Ah come on Boomer, mama needs a break. And so does your poor little ear!
