Will she go back down or continue to bounce up again? The higher numbers are depressing.

I guess the next step is to have testing done ASAP I have Zobaline coming for neuropathy. The only thing she gets up on is the futon to the cat stand, that is it. She can't jump on the bed even though I have set things up to make it easier. I got her a huge litter box with a low opening, thought it would be easier for her so there is no big step getting in or out. she is not hock walking but starting to, so she is playing it safe. She hasn't had zoomies in just about forever. The last time was about 10 days ago when she tried to get on the bed to play a game we used to play. I assisted her in getting up and we just played briefly and she was not running around on the bed like she used to.

Very depressing and her quality of life has been diminished. She eats happily but sleeps a lot (ok she is a cat).

For her first green, it's likely the bounce will go on for a while. Try not to be depressed by these temporary high numbers. They are the result of the insulin dose finally starting to do the job of getting her down to normal number range. The bounces will diminish as she sees more nice numbers.

Is she having problems jumping down or up or both? A ramp instead of stairs might help her get up on the bed.

I hope so the high numbers do so much damage. She is chugging right along eating and being her self.

Both but walking and using the litter box she OK I just don't want her to twist or break anything.
You are good I just put in a ramp from the livingroom to the porch. It is 3 sliding doors so the track is very wide and there is a drop of about 3-4 inches. It is a wooden ramp and then I put a nice rubber backed rug on the top. I been looking all over the internet for ramps. She can jump about 2 feet+ but I just don't want her to get hurt. :bighug::bighug::bighug:
