I was going to get a test PMPS +3 last night, but the power went out, and we didn't have power for 3 hours. I went to bed at around 1 hour after the power went "poof", and woke up about 1 hour later to still no power. I was worried about the insulin in the fridge. I stayed up, called the power company again (to no avail since I had already left a message previously), and about 1/2 hour to 45 minutes later, it finally came back on. I checked the meat thermometer in the fridge, and it read 48 degrees. I told DH to NOT open the fridge. I had already packed him 5 Dr Peppers in a cooler with some of those frozen gel packs. I think they worked to keep his drinks cool. I'm running on my 1/2 cup of
, and very little sleep. Momma Bean is not a happy camper this a.m. The power outage happened after the bucketloads of rain that we received around dinnertime. I'm guessing a tree limb fell on the lines again. Time for the county to trim down some trees, me thinks.
This is the 2nd morning in a row that her AMPS was a bit higher. If it's higher tomorrow than today's #, I'm guessing the insulin is turning.
MY WISH: For God to help heal the broken hearts of those who lost a beloved pet and/or human... For God to help those ailing make a full and speedy recovery... For everyone to have great #s... For everyone to be OTJ.
