confused_cat Here we are again diarrhea and vomiting....have to check but think it is only 3 weeks ago he had this just not himself at all. I love my dear old boy he is so good and patient with me no matter what just don`t clean his butt. Of course I have a house full of company coming and most don`t have cats let alone one who leaves nasty gifts for me to clean up. Hope he settles down soon . @-) ~O) ~O) :YMSIGH: Healing green light surround all furry sugarbabies today and of of course anyone who needs it Hugssss Kath

Nice amps Trey! Bummer though on the pukus and the runny poo. What's up trey? I am sending feel better vines for you.

aack, that is not good. have you tried giving him Fortiflora? it's a probiotic that can help with the poo. You buy it from vets or online - it's not available in local stores as far as i know.

would you note symptoms like this on his spreadsheet, please? i went looking back to see what happened 3 weeks ago and can't find it. any medical issues or meds can be good info to have later. do you know what's causing the tummy upset? any new food?

Oh, Trey. What's with the messies from both ends? And butt baths aren't that bad, kid. 'Course I have a fractious Forest cat at work who explodes all over her britches from time to time. OMG! It's like trying to clean off a mix master in motion. I sympathize.

And, yes, the Fortiflora can firm things up. We use it with Miss Stinky Butt when she starts splattering. It helps.

Lots of vines for a more solid outcome.

Trey had a bout of this about once a month for the pass 3-4 months never thought much off it ...don`t think its got to do with the food but am going to keep a close eye. He always has a nice big poop not too hard not too soft even while this is going on he has hard looking stool in with the liquid. Seems like he gets bad cramps and of course drips every time he stops to poop. Don`t think he needs any thing to slow this down but more a cramp issue. Another thing it is so stinky and color of gray am going to do a vet trip soon I thing ......gave him a anti acid after about an hour things settle down. I did post this time on ss but last attack was June 12 ....worst that time. But we got a shiny butt for another day . ~O) cat(2)_steam ;-) Hope house smells good for company.... Healing green light to all Hugs Kath

i would try fortiflora asap. you can give it to them all the time and it can really normalize the poop. If it doesn't help, then i'd go with the vet, but it is pretty effective on a lot of poop issues.

i don't even know what to think that i know that . . .
