Nice start for Furball today! I can't imagine being without power for that long in this heat. Hope they all get it back very soon.

There are people here who are just getting their power back from storms on Sunday. Given the heat wave here, I'm glad I wasn't effected.

Just a caution -- I wouldn't skip getting a PM test those days when you see a PMPS over 300. While it doesn't look like Furball dives, you never know! I hope you start seeing more blues and greens.

Morning! Nice amps this morning Furball - good job!

I wish them all well there, those still without power, and those who work so hard to fix everything. It is good to read that the storms seem to be lessening . I hope that will help the work to get things fixed. I hope to that you guys are able to stay cool.

Sienne, I usually do get a PM test after the PMPS, but haven't every day recently because I was running low on test strips. The storms caused chaos with me getting to the pharmacy at Wal-Mart to get more. I have more now and will be getting those tests in. Thanks for the reminder. I actually did forget last night. ohmygod_smile

Even with power, I will be glad when this heat wave is over. They are saying it should get back to normal temperatures next week. I hope so.
 
I am guessing that Furball is bouncing from dipping into the blues today. Since I wasn't home to test her, I don't know how low she went. I did leave extra food out and all of the plates were licked clean when I got home from work. Hopefully she'll come down quickly.

A bad storm blew through the area at lunch today. The lights at work blinked off and then back on. Sadly, 3,000 more people in the area lost power. Some for the second time. I'll be glad when these storms are over and the heat wave is too.
