Furball was in a very good mood this morning. She was very playful. It looks like she's doing good on the new dose.

The news said there are still around 300,000 people without power in WV. The estimate for my area was Friday to get the power back on. It is now Sunday. Thankfully, we still have power. The forecast is calling for some storms today. Hopefully they won't knock out any more power. Without power, the gas stations aren't working and the ones that are still have a run on gas. Hopefully they can get more gas in. The news is warning people to fill up their gas tanks before they go on anywhere because there are still so many places you can't get gas. Still sending prayers out for those without power and those working to restore it.

a good start to the day for little miss furball! hopefully she'll be in some blue numbers before too long.

my brother and family are in virginia, right in the path of friday night's storm. sounds like it was devastating, although they only lost some branches. all around them was a mess of trees and downed wires. i hope you're doing ok, carla!

It looks like Furball had a yellow surf today. She may have gotten to the low 100s though. Hopefully tomorrow we'll see some blue.

More storms this evening. Our power blinked off for a couple of seconds, then came back on. Very scary under the circumstances. I don't know how quickly we would get it back on if it stayed off. Hopefully the storms are finished for the night. Furball is not bothered by the storms at all. A couple of my other cats always run and hide, but she jumped up in the window while it was storming. I'm glad it doesn't bother her. I wish this heat wave would end soon too. It was 95 here today. Friday and Saturday are forecast for 100. I feel bad for those without power right now.
