07/02 Mačka, AMPS 513 - Increasing dose to 1.75

Mačka is still in his high numbers. I decided to go for a higher dose slowly from 1.5 to 1.75 units.
I'll be mostly at home this week (with a new batch of strips!) and it has become easier to poke his ears (he even purrs, crazy), so I will also test more.

I should receive his B12 today and hopefully start crushing the pill in his food by the end of the day (is it better AM or PM for B12?)

We don’t make dosing decisions based on the preshot numbers. We need to see some more mid cycle tests. Today could be a bounce from going low (too much insulin), or a sign of not enough insulin.

Got any ketones tests lately?

Thank you. I wasn't aware. I am planning on testing him today at +4 and +8. Ketones are all NEG. He eats well.
I have the feeling he does not receive enough insulin though. His numbers have mostly all been high and same as without insulin since we started the treatment, 3 weeks ago...
