I'm going to just write this real quick, because I feel bad leaving my parents sitting watching T.V. alone, while I'm out here, on the last evening of my vacation.
When I talked to the vet last night, she said if the Miralax does not work by morning to give him some docusate sodium, which she said works like Miralax but from "the other end"? So, at 6:30am when he still hadn't pooed, I am googling stores out here in the sticks that might be open, and went out and got the drug, got home, and gave him 100mg at 7:30am. At 8:00am HE POOED!!!!! probably not from the docusate sodium but from the 1/4 teaspoon (a double dose for him) of Miralax the night before.
He hasn't pooed since, but the poo he did early this morning was a good medium dog size poo.
By this time tomorrow, we'll probably somewhere flying over Nebraska...
