im just going to give bailey one more dose at 5.75 u then increase as im not sure whether its the vial of insulin that has perhaps gone off.theres not much left in it and its started to look abit cloudy so am starting a new vial at am today.just in case his higher numbers are due to that losing its potency or wheher he needs me to increase it slightly.we'll see!

hes doing great still in himself which is a big weight of my mind!
 
I hope the fresh juice helps. Fingers Crossed.
If his bounces take 3 days, which it looks like sometimes his do, he may be due to come down to some greens soon, so be ready to test and have supplies just in case if you do increase in the next cycle or two.
 
I usually try to replace the insulin if that happens as well. At least, you then can tell if he needs more juice or the insulin is losing its potency. I am glad that Bailey is feeling so much better.

yeah I just didn't want to increase without knowing for sure whether it was the insulin,a bounce or just a need of an increase so im hoping this cycle will tell me!
 
cloudy isn't a good sign with the insulin. i agree you were smart to replace it. fingers crossed he comes down today. i'd increase tonight if he isn't in blues in today's day cycle.

by the way, there's no dose for last night's shot on the ss.
 
thanks Julie.ive put it in now.hes coming down but not by much so im gonna go up slowly this time.il go up to 6 tonight!slowly but surely! I think I may have come down too quick fron 6.5units but its was in a panic so if I go back up slowly that should do it!!
