The thing with insulin resistance (whatever kind is present) is that you are aiming for a moving target when it comes to a dose that gets your cat into good numbers. If you cannot monitor much the next couple days, I can understand your hesitation to increase. At some point, it would be lovely to get a comparison between a hand held meter and the Libre when the Libre says under 100. Sometimes the Libre reads a lot lower.

The above is my long winded way of saying a dose increase would be a good thing. More insulin can also help reduce the height of the higher numbers. Also note, sometimes dose increase threats have a way of having the cat respond by giving some lower numbers. We'll see. Hear that Simon?
