I know I didn't discuss this previously, but ever since J.D. finally had a solid poo on Friday, there has been nothing in the box (well, pee, but not even a whole lot of that considering how high he's been and how much he has been drinking).
Last night, we went out to dinner for my dad's birthday and I asked my step mom if she had any Miralax and she said all she had was some Phillips something. I tried to convince them to go to the grocery store on the way home, so I could buy some some, but it was so late, I decided to wait until this morning. I'm so glad he pooed :-D

I don't have a ton of extra cash, but my boss gives out VISA gift cards as extra rewards sometimes and I saved them up for this vacation, and so last night when I took my folks out to dinner I used those and was able to bring some of my steak and half a lobster tail home to J.D. He says I am the best mommy ever :-D

Right now, I have him out in the workshop with me, and he keeps giving me a wet nose on my bare legs (I wear shorts here, all the time) and he sends shivers up my spine, because he loves to give me love bites :o The other day, he gave me a bite and then a lick in the same spot, over and over. I'm not sure if the lick was to appologize for the bite, or I was a (much more than bite sized) food item. He keeps doing it. He's making me laugh. He's so silly :lol:

I did not increase J.D.'s dose last night as I was talking with a friend and decided to wait another cycle because he had gotten into the drooler's kibble yesterday morning :roll: . I was taking him outside for his fourth walk of the morning, and wanted to prepare a cup of coffee to take with me. I looped his leash around a door knob in the kitchen, so that he wouldn't wander. When I turned back around from making my coffee, his face was in the dog food.

I did increase this morning, just a little teeny bit, after some thought. I increased from f1.00 back to ff1.00, just because I remembered all those 400s, and really don't want to see them again, for a long time.

I am off to go cancel our vet appointment for today.

Yay Poo!!!! :lol: :lol: :lol: Only on FDMB would we get excited about something like that. Sooo glad he finally pooed. His numbers are looking better too. Maybe he is on the way to recovery all the way around.

That's funny about him licking and nipping your leg. When DS or I hold Tarragon, he loves to rub his face all over ours. Sometimes, he will get really into it and bite our chin or ear and then lick it real fast like "oops sorry." So sweet, but ouch!

Steak and lobster, yum. You are the best mama bean ever!

That "oops, sorry" made me laugh until tears came out of my eyes. That's what it was like :lol:

I once worked as a dishwasher in a restaurant at nights, at a fancy local restaurant, and some people would actually leave lobster and scallops and other yummies on their plates, so I would take bits and pieces home to J.D. That was about 15 years ago, but he still loves his seafood.

It's almost +5 now. I'm a little behind in being current. :roll:

I'll have to tell my sister what you said. She will get a good laugh :lol: . It's the kind of thing we would joke about planning to do to someone else.

I've been waiting a week to see these nice numbers, I ain't going nowhere :-D
And, speaking of which; Since he did not get a shot for something like 27 hours because of the travel time to get here, maybe I totally depleted his shed and it took a week to get it all filled up again?

Anyway, he just got a bite of his favorite food. Now, to look up xylitol. Can I buy it at a regular grocery store? :lol:
 
Nice work on the surf and turf doggie, I mean kitty bag for JD and congats on the LB prezzies. I am glad that you are having a good time on your vacation.
 
Oh, Dyana, this is great news!!! JD did a poo and his numbers are looking really nice! It could be his shed was depleted and it could have been stress from traveling, who knows, our kitties will do what they do and sometimes there is no rhyme or reason for it.

GeeCee does the nibble-lick thing too, lol. Not often, tho, but it's cute. He doesn't bite hard.

Steak and Lobster...sounds like JD isn't the only one who likes their surf and turf, lolol....sounds soooo yummy!!!

Enjoy the rest of your vacation, my friend...when I read about you laughing until you cried, I just knew you were feeling so relaxed and are enjoying yourself, I know with JD poo'ing and his number coming down have a lot to do with that!
 
Poo and blue numbers, what could be better -- especially since it sounds like J.D. is feeling better. Georgie (GA) was a nibbler. Any bare piece of skin that he could find, especially in the early morning was fair game for a nibble.
 
Woohoo for the poo! So glad J.D. is feeling better now.

Trixie likes to nibble on my arm, particularly in the morning, right before her AMPS. I guess she's a little anxious to get the ball rolling while I'm still working on waking up enough for my eyes to actually focus!
