Morning Diane
Mini vacation starts next Wednesday. I work half day that day so does DH. I showed DH Molly's new soft crate. We'll put it in the back seat of the truck. At least she'll have more room to move around. I will take a pic of her in there when we go just remind me lol :)
 
Molly had a good day yesterday and a nice start today. A mini vacation sounds wonderful. Are you traveling someplace special? Hope the rest of the day goes well for you Adrienne.

Yes, nice day for Molly yesterday and hopefully today!
We're going camping in the mountains we love it there. We go hiking and I take pictures of the waterfalls. There is one waterfall we absolutely love. We're going back there when we go DH loves it!
It's also Bear country so we have to be safe. I seen one last year when I was there. It was coming down the tree. I froze like really seeing what I'm seeing. The lady I was with told me to walk back and just walk. That's what I did and the bear didn't follow us thank goodness.

I love the mountains! I love the Western North Carolina mountains and used to go at least once or twice a year when my husband was alive and I love the waterfalls there, too. I can imagine that the mountains in British Columbia are much more magnificent. I never saw a bear when I was on vacation but always wanted to but from the comfort of a cabin or a car. I would be very nervous, too, if I was out hiking and saw one. Do you have grizzlies in the area where you are going? When you say camping do you mean in an actual tent? How does Molly handle that? I would be afraid to leave her behind if I was going hiking.

The mountains are nice here. But I miss the ocean I'm originally from Nova Scotia. That was the closest I was to a bear was last year. Yes there is grizzly bear and black bear. What I seen last year was a brown bear it's like a black bear.
I've seen a grizzly bear but it was a distance away in hot per suit of an elk.
We have a Holiday trailer so Molly is safe. The park attendants want to know if we have pets. They know we have a diabetic cat. I make sure her numbers are good before we go hiking

So glad to hear you have a camper. I would love to have an RV. I'm excited for you and will live vicariously through you on your mini vacation. I wasn't afraid that you wouldn't check Molly's numbers. I just thought if you were in a tent a big bear could get to her.
