315 PMPS
390 +3
120 +8.75

J.D. has been nibbling all morning, and I overslept my btb alarm to wake up to the 55. He just ate a meal of FF Chunky Turkey (his current favorite) and I have to run to the vet real quick to get his Denamarin before they close and J.D. goes any lower (it's only 1.5 miles away).

Last night Ginger caught a baby bird and brought it home and both cats were circling it. I yelled at Ginger for killing things and not eating them. I guess I should have left it there and maybe J.D. would have showed Ginger how to eat it, but I tried to save it and put it under a bush hoping it's mom would come find it.

Okay, I'm off..to the vet.

I hope J.D. surfs safely for you the rest of the day. Poor bird.

Hi Dyana. I'm sure J.D. will come down nicely under your excellent care. :-D
I'm glad he stayed safe while you ran to the vet. I had to make an emergency run to Walmart for strips, 25 miles. Oy

Have a nice evening Dyana

No fair, I can't get into your SS. *pout*

PS Sorry about the bird.

Re: 06/22 J.D. PMPS 424

I just went out to look for the bird and it was gone. Maybe (knock on wood) it survived and mom came.
I had originally taken it to one island of wooded area and found Ginger way around the corner of the condos looking intently up into some bushes. So I put Ginger in the house, and went and put the baby bird under the bush that Ginger was so fixated on. Hopefully it survived.
Ginger has been a little depressed. I, at first, in my anger, told her that she could never go out without a leash again, and then, of course, I changed it to at least a month. She has been sleeping in the house pretty much quietly all day and has not asked to go outside but once first thing this morning, so I think she understands her new restrictions. I did take her out for a quick walk on a leash an hour ago. The thing is when she's on the leash she doesn't get to run like a Cheetah, which she so loves to do, and to gallop while hopping so joyously at the same time, and high trotting with her tail raised high and fluffy :( Maybe I should get a bike and take her for walks that way, I just can't run with her.

J.D. just ate his 3rd Dinner and is now laying on the deck for the last bit of evening, and Ginger is leashed and tied to the railing outside the front door.
