WCR - She woke me at 4:45 throwing herself against the french doors to the patio. There was a stray cat in her chair and she was having a fit. Other than her fit she is fine. All p's in place. Still doing Tuffy numbers.

Tuffy, Tuffy, Tuffy....why can't you play like all the other kids.
Barbara there was another cat a while back that went OTJ with higher blue ps's than Tuffy. I wish I could remember who it was.....I am sure if D comes by she will remember.

You know she will make you sweat every trial day.....she is sweet Tuffy. dancing_cat

It was probably Boomer! He gave me blues too but he still went OTJ. Fear not.

Congrats on those great numbers Tuffy! Don't let those other kitties stress you. I bet you are named Tuffy for a reason! ;-)

Hi Tracy....nice to see you. I know Boomer was higher also but the cat I am thinking of went OTJ over a year ago or longer.

That's quite alright Miriam. Tuffy just does things her way. I'm still testing a lot to track her numbers and make sure she is coming down. For some reason she is not eating out of the timed feeder. I really don't want to get up at 3:00 a.m. to feed the cat but if necessary I will. Of course, the other 8 will want to eat than too. We will just keep plugging along and see where she decides to go. Yes, she has earned her name. Her name is based on the fact that she was 3 months old when I finally got to bring her home from the vet. She survived all her problems and she weighed not quite a pound. I really thought her growth was stunted. Guess I was wrong about that too. She grew the most between 1-2 years.

Your pancreas is working beautifully Tuffy! I can't believe the nerve of that stray going into YOUR chair! grr_red What nerve, seriously!

Who needs an alarm clock when you have Tuffy and a set of French doors?

It would be lovely if you could find a big enough feeder to accommodate all 8 starving kitties at that hour of the morning.

If Tuffy played like the other cats, she wouldn't have that Tuffy magic goin' on.

Tuffy is doing fine. Wish I could say the same for Bean. Left the timed feeder and also a bowl. She ate the bowl food and left the timed feeder bowl. Maybe she does not like the plastic. She used to love the time feeder. Still hot. Still doing barn 2x daily. Feel 102 tonight. BBL with one more BG and try and visit a few condos. Need a shower now.

When I first read this I thought you said she ate the bowl and left the timed feeder.....I was thinking maybe something the bowl was made out of was raising her am bg. :lol:
 
Thanks Miriam: I'm beat. Not making much sense. Then I have to deal with a cat that is the Social Director and Tour Leader. I'm just along for the ride. No, she does not like the plastic bowls in the timed feeder. That is new. I think that is why the AMBGs are higher. I leave the feeder set and she does not eat the food. Waits till I get up for a nice bowl of food.

Hope she settles down & invader leaves--She is just not eating from the feeder to spite you--I'M SURE mOONIE WOULD DO THE SAME!!

Well, we were sitting on the patio and I did not see the stray but Tuffy did. She cleared a 3 1/2 foot fence and was after him. I caught her and put her in the house. I can't believe he had the audacity to take her cigar off the patio and was playing with it. I thought all was calm and we went out again and he reappeared. Off went the Tuffmeister again. She is still mad as you know what. I can't call anyone because I know what they will do with him so I put some food outside the gate. Hopefully he will stay there. I DON"T need another CAT. I'll just keep telling myself that. Poor Baby.

Well that is the only update from here. Tuffy ate a good dinner. She had EVO venison and loved it. Guess we will use EVO for a while since FF has made her dislike list.
 
I think you need that other cat so that Tuffy can show how tough she is! Maybe they'll become best friends eventually. Maybe he needs a toy of his own! Maybe he'd like to eat out of the feeder!! Congrats on Day 9!

When Kitty was on his trial, he got more finicky. Considering how Tuffy is normally, MORE finecky could be pretty demanding on a bean.

We gave up on plastic, and just use regular plates. Whatever King Kitty wants, King Kitty gets!

I hope you get a nice cool shower and a good night's rest!
