Good morning!
AMPS 185 shooting 3.5u

He seemed to be bouncing yesterday although I'm not sure what caused it. I also realized that my 3.5u shots have been a wee bit on the light side so I've made sure to correct that today.

It's rainy here today (once again on DH's golf league day lol) so I'll be inside and hopefully my allergies will ease; I spent a lot of time outdoors yesterday so I'm suffering now.

Yesterday morning we made a quick trip to a small town about 40 minutes away where there is a wildlife management area (Tundra Swans land here during their March migration north). Our previous trip a couple of weeks ago was not rewarding...it was an afternoon trip and the birds just weren't out. Yesterday's trip was much better and I got photos of Bobolinks (a first for me), Eastern Meadowlarks (another first for me) Savannah Sparrows (not a first sighting but first decent photo)! So today's photo is of a Bobolink!

Nice shot of the bobolink! It’s great that you and your DH spend so much time out doors congrats on the first sightings :)

Hey Deputy Boomer: stay above the shark level; no need to mend the nets today!

Good news on the birding front, and a great shot of the Bobolink. How neat that you got two firsts yesterday (neither is on my list).

Hope your allergies are getting better. It's raining hard here and the whole paint crew is working on our house, underneath tarps!

It's just "spitting" out today but expected constantly throughout the day :p
 
Great Photo! I've never seen a Bobolink before! Cool looking bird. Are his feathers normally spiked up on his back like that?

Boomer has some Really good BG going on :D
