Gideon's AMPS was 271 - in the YELLOW! I was so excited, but at +6 he increased to 444.
Hoping we can get him stable. I see so many kitties that joining the group, have a food change, and are no longer diabetic, or they only went on insulin for a short while and went into remission. Neither case is our situation. Gideon always ate fairly low carb food and never dry, so I had nothing to change there. I must think POSITIVE that we will get this under control. I am not even striving for remission at this point, just a stable cat where the numbers stay in the BLUE. On a good note...my vet faxed a prescription for Lantus pens to Marks Marine Pharmacy. They will send them out on Monday, and I should receive no later than Thursday. Thanks for the recommendation!
