Good morning!
AMPS 331 shooting 3.5u

Boomer didn't eat very well again last night. He got me up at 3:30, wasn't interested in any of the 3 foods that I had left him so I got him something else and added a few wee pieces of chicken to it; he ate the chicken and I left him hoping he was eating the rest but he only nibbled a bit.

Hoping to get to Stratford today; waiting to see what Boomer is at +3. Forecast for Stratford is "partially sunny". Better than here where it's supposed to be cloudy all day.

Today's photo is of a female Mallard that did a quick fly-by while I was out last week.

Nice shot Judy! I love how clear your photo subjects are! What kind of camera do you use? Do you use a tri-pod?

I enjoy taking pictures but the finesse of the camera is over my head, I just use one with smart settings and a 55-120mm lens. It’s enough for my skill level :cat:

I hope Boomer starts eating better for you soon and that you get some good inspiration in Stratford :)

+3 was 167 and we had a quick debate as to whether it was safe to leave him with him dropping like he did. We knew driving time would be an hour there and an hour back so I left him with quite a bit of higher carb ff (a lot of which he ate at +3) we went and aimed for an hour of "shooting" time to get us back around +6. We were about 35 minutes late. +6.5 88. YAY

And the good news is that I photographed baby ducks, baby swans (only 2 in the whole area) 2 Great Blue Herons, and even got crappy shots of a Green Heron; saw another Green Heron but it flew and we couldn't find it and we also saw a Great White Egret but it hid on me.

Thanks Amanda! My primary camera is a Nikon D7200 with a Sigma 150-600 lens. No I don't use a tripod.
