Good morning and Happy Father's Day to all those Daddy-Beans out there!

AMPS 279 shooting 3.5u
Last night at +3 I scooped his remaining overnight meals onto plates and also gave him an additional meal, hoping that HRH would eat overnight. He did eat almost all of 2 of the 3 plates.

Yesterday I headed out early since there were supposed to be "sunny breaks". There weren't any:rolleyes: in fact just as I got to my destination there were raindrops:rolleyes: so I headed back towards home, stopping at a couple of run-off ponds on the way. Just after leaving the first run-off pond, I saw three wild turkeys in a field; they were relatively close to the road allowing me a decent shot; photo attached.

Today on the agenda: since Boomer is bouncing and will likely remain high for the rest of the day (to be verified at +3) and the weather is supposed to clear (if they're right this time) mid morning, we will hopefully head to Stratford to photograph the baby swans! Apparently there are also a couple of green herons hanging out and there is usually an egret as well as some cormorants.

It was the same here. It was cool for so long, then the rain started, and now it's usually way too hot or too cool for the time of year. I miss those regular springs that slowly turned into summer, instead of the winter, 2 days of spring, and then wham bam right into summer. If I wanted crazy hot days I'd go live somewhere down south, haha. Bouncing sucks, but if it's going to happen, I hope you have a great time in Stratford! Behave now Boomer!
 
That's really good that Boomer ate most of his overnight meals. :)

No sun yet and it's almost +2.5:( Come on sun........
ETA: the weather network has now changed today's forecast and it's supposed to rain in 30 minutes. :(:(:(

Well with a drop like that (totally unexpected) I wouldn't want to be away for a few hours and Stratford is an hour away. And the weather isn't cooperating anyways.
That drop may (should) cause another bounce and it's supposed to be sunnier tomorrow so we shall see about Stratford tomorrow morning.
 
Ha! Go figure! When I read your first comment, my initial thought was a go figure this happens when Boomer is cooperating, but then I read your second comment. So maybe he knew and figured he may as well join the beach party this morning since you'll be home anyway... It could happen, right?! I'm sorry about the delay Judy. I feel like those quick changes have been happening here as well. Fingers crossed that tomorrow works out for you!
