Re: 06/12 Boomer AMBG 70

Lookin' good, Boomer. Yes, he absolutely does get a Mr Greenie  ...he earned it!

Re: 06/12 Boomer AMBG 70

Guess Boomer loses his Mr Greenie.
Husband gave him tuna this morning. And up he goes.
And I'm quite upset right now.
:-x

Re: 06/12 Boomer AMBG 70

Sounds to me like DH (not Boomer) loses HIS Mr Greenie  ! Don't worry...the rise will be temporary!

Re: 06/12 Boomer AMBG 70

What I'm concerned about is this......in 6 hours he will be due for his PM shot. I know his levels could come down between now and then but I also know that carbs can affect them for hours! So, if his level is low again in +6 everything is copacetic. If it's high....what do I do? Do I shoot based on the high number or do I hold off knowing that it's been inflated by the tuna and will come down again by itself? I think I should hold off; what do others think?

Re: 06/12 Boomer AMBG 70 surfing the blue now GRR

What kind of tuna did Boomer have? I know ECID, but Neko doesn't get that much of a food bump from food. It seems like rather a big change in numbers. I wonder if his pancreas is sputtering but got tired. Boomer does seem to have some nice long runs of green and then poop out. He can't quite make it to 24 hours before going blue.

What about trying .25U tonight if Boomer's still got the blues at PMPS? I think his pancreas still needs a bit of support.

You might want to click the ? icon on your first post, and change the subject to include something like "dose?" to gather more opinions.

Re: 06/12 Boomer AMBG 70 PM SHOT ?

I'm not sure what type it was; I do know it would have been packed in water not oil.
He came down a wee bit in a test a few minutes ago but he also hasn't eaten for four hours.

So the question is: assuming he does not come down to the greens in the next 4 hours should I shoot .25 or should I not shoot knowing that the tuna inflated his numbers?

Re: 06/12 Boomer PMBG 110 do I shoot????

Plain tuna by itself shouldn't have many carbs.

As for shooting, are you home tonight and able to monitor?

Re: 06/12 Boomer PMBG 110 shot .25

Saturday night was 1.25U so this is a lot less. Not that Bommer likes to follow rules.

I'd get a couple early tests to see what he has planned.

Re: 06/12 Boomer PMBG 110 shot .25

plain tuna shouldn't have any carbs at all. pure meat is all protein - that's why people suggest it for pokey treats.

it almost looks like today was a mini-bounce and the 196 was the peak of it. he may have gotten lower than 50 last night and his body reacted to it.
