Rico has been in remission for the past 2 weeks and has generally been doing well, however, I've noticed a slow but steady increase in his BG. I test him once every 5 days and stick to the same diet as before but only feed him 4 times a day instead of 6. He's not in the mood of eating any more either. I wonder if the heat can affect him. There's been a heatwave of 102-106 F degrees in Greece lately.

It's possible he's more dehydrated in the heat, which can cause an increase in BG. Do you have a water fountain or other way to entice him to drink more? Besides, he still green.:D

No, I haven't got a water fountain but I can get one. What worried me is that his BG - although still green - steadily gets higher. Could I add some water in his food too?

It won't hurt to add a little water to his food.

89 and six days 91 is hardly what I call "getting higher". Well within margin of error on the meter.
