I increased J.D.'s dose from ff1.00 to 1.25 at PMPS, last night.

J.D. woke me up purring loudly in my ear at +5.25.

63 +5.25 (fed)
36 +6.5 (fed HC FF Gravy Lovers)
55 +7
63 +7.5 (ate 1 large shrimp)
90 +8.5 (ate 1 large shrimp)

At +6.5 I woke up to an alarm YAY and found him laying on the kitchen rug waiting for shrimp.
(I think he's starting to realize the relationship of when he earns shrimp :-D)
Should I have just used LC at +6.5? He often doesn't rise that much from food. But, maybe maybe maybe he wouldn't have bounced so high this morning HA.

I shot through the bounce this morning, and will go back to the ff1.00 tonight.

With a 36, unless you know J.D. is so carb sensitive that you'll get a decent rise off of LC, I would have gone for the big guns. Gravy Lovers is only around 15% - 17%. It doesn't sound like J.D. is that carb sensitive. However, he is bouncy! I doubt with a drop into the 30s that you could have done much to prevent the bounce.

Thanks Sienne. I thought I was doing the right thing. But in the middle of the night, in a drowsy state, I don't know how much of my brain is awake.
Normally, I would have just gone back to bed and set an alarm, but wanted a second opinion on new dose, so went to the computer and posted..of course then once I'm logged on, I was up for 4 hours..that's what happens when I log on, I become more awake.

Dyana, I would have freaked out at a 36 & done exactly what you did with the HC gravy! Tawny is pretty bouncy too, but maybe not quite with that much of a spread!

No worries, that bounce will break. Tawny's bounces always break faster than Tinkerbell's ever did, Tink always took about a day and a half, Tawny's usually break in about half that time.

I don't hold out much hope for yellow, but I will hope anyway. He's still taking a bath after his lunch (3rd breffis).

He sure was a purry kitty last night and this morning. Purry Kittys make Moms Happy.

Bounces should be outlawed!!!! :lol: Looks like he may have a good PM cycle for you, though, or at least some yellows?!!!

Hope you're able to rest up today!! I know how it is once you get on the computer. I do the same thing. It's always, "I'll just look at this. I'll just post one thing here." Before you know, hours have passed!! :lol:

Thanks Patty, I changed the way I spell my name in junior high school, because I was so shy, and I just wanted to be different. It worked. :lol: Those people that think they're normal, think I'm not ;-)

I can test at night and set an alarm and then go back to sleep just fine, as long as I don't get on the computer.
So, I usually just post what happened at night, in the morning. There's something about turning on the computer and posting. Whether I'm on it for hours or minutes; after I turn the computer off, it's still another hour or so, before I can fall asleep again. Strange. I guess my mind wakes up.

You have been very busy. Some great numbers for J.D. After the lows last night he did not bounce too high tonight. LOL Hope you are getting some rest.

Besides PMPS, he was fed a LC meal at +3, and his 3rd dinner just now at +4.

I'm tired. I don't know if I should try to catch a nap, or put on the coffee. His shed is very full.

His timing is a little different, but the numbers are sure almost identical to yesterday. One more shrimp coming up.

Just dropped by to say hi. You and J.D. seem to be having a pajama party with a fish theme. Unusual. :lol: Some cats will do ANYTHING for shrimp!
