Looks like Cleo is still bouncing, hope it clears soon. She was hungry this morning. Fought her way through the droolers to reach me in the bathroom right after I got out of bed. Made it known that she was hungry!! Very vocal for Cleo, even though it was just a sweet couple of meows. Ate first small breffis w/Zobaline, didn't even leave the counter......just stared me down for more :-D

4 P's in place this morning - Didn't see her play as usual. I P in LB, 1 half in, and 1 totally out. :? May ask vet to do a UA. I wonder if they have to do the kind where they stick a needle in the bladder, how much that hurts? She pees outside of the litter box so much, I could use a dipstick in a fresh pee on the floor. I hate to see her hurt, and I really don't think she has a UTI. Think she has just made this a new habit. Ever since she was cornered when we were trying to catch her, and she let go that BIG stream of urine against the floor lamp, it seems like she is more marking than peeing. Thank goodness she only does it in, or near litter boxes.

Cleo what's with the LB anxiety? Take a look at the washable litter mat from PetCo. Ironically Stella stopped that same behaviour after I bought mine. :lol: Have a good day!

Morning,

I'm sorry about the pee problems. Our vet has taken a pee sample from both of my kitties using the needle. It didn't appear to hurt either one, though it scared me a little to watch it. Hope you can figure out why she is peeing outside of the LB. have a good day, hope Cleo slides down today,

I hope Stella clears the bounce soon. I hope the lb issues don't mean she has a UTI. A trip to the vet will put your mind at ease.

Hi guys .. sorry about the LB misses .. thankfully neither of our girls have that problem but mocha sure does like to go #2 outside of the box .. ESPECIALLY when she is mad at us for anything! She will wait all day while we are out and then squat in front of the LB when we get home just to show us how mad she is .. ohmygod_smile have a great day guys!

PMPS 101 Wow, she may have cleared that bounce fast! :-D Why can't she skip a bounce this time, huh,huh?? I know - tighten up those patience pants!

DH says he tried to do a test at about +6, but he didn't get enough blood and had an error. I just appreciate his trying! He will get better :razz:

Nice bounce clearing, Cleo! :-D :-D The needle stick sounds horrible to me too but I remember reading somewhere that it really isn't a big deal. My non-medical imagination is far worse than the reality. :lol: :lol: It's a much better sample too. I think it needs to be sterile to be a good one. Good for DH for trying! He'll get better with practice.

Talking about how Cleo uses the catio LB and always (antijinx) keeps her stuff inside, yet when that same LB was in the laundry room, she missed it most of all!! Got me thinking about what is the difference? Well, catio LB area has carpet on it! So, DH cut up pieces of old wall to wall carpet and put in front of each LB in laundry room and so far today she has gone totally inside each one. Now, the real test will be when her BG goes up, and her drinking goes up. And in the AM, that is when I almost always find one. Anyhoo, hope it helps her. Maybe makes her feel more stable getting in and out?

If this doesn't work, I will def try the Petco washable mat. :-D

+6 67 Cleo is eating about 1 tsp of LC after each test. This is the first time she is this low (that I have noticed anyway) that she is not coming to eat more often. Almost as if she is getting used to the lower number feeling! :-D

Very nice cycle for Cleo.m I hope the carpet by the LB continues to work. Who knows what they are thinking?

I don't think the needle hurts. I was in the room when they did it to Gus once and I just turned my back. He didn't make a peep.
