Re: Ducky AMPS 184 +2 123

Hello and good morning,

A couple of housekeeping things....

Posting convention has DATE/CAT NAME/AMPS... (don't forget the date)

and to easily keep track of the day to day postings, given the number of posts everyday, could you remember to add yesterday's news to today's condo. To do so, you'll need to find yesterday's post and copy and paste the http://......
I've done it for you today.

Goooo Ducky!

Now those are great looking numbers there, Ducky! It's probably making you feel alot better with more even numbers, and all those highs and lows are in the past!
So how are you doing with it all Angel? How is Ducky acting now? Hopefully now that Ducky is getting more level numbers you will start to see some nice improvements.

Here's hope we see those numbers continue nice and even.

Very nice cycle you had last night and today. Anxious to see how Ducky's PMPS is. Hehe Ducky--makes me think of Pretty in Pink.

Re: 06/10 Ducky AMPS 184 +2 123 PMPS 337

Hello all,

Well his numbers went up a bit, but his personality really hasn't changed. He really doesn't show much symptoms of anything. Hoping that the one unit twice a day will eventually even him out a little. I am doing all right with this, but I find myself getting anxious when I am at work all day and can't be here to test him. But he is loving the attention and the ear pricking is soooo much easier, now he just sits calmly in my lap and seems to know what to expect  So at least that is a lot easier... day at a time.... just one day at a time.

And why does he sit nicely for testing? Because Ducky knows what comes next!
Juice that makes him feel better and foods!!

Don't worry; it'll come. If you worry when at work, just leave extra foods and if Ducky is low he can feed himself.

HAHA!! That is true!! Plus I usually give him a little snack after I take his blood... hee hee... He loves food.... would it be okay to leave out some low carb dry food during the day? Like Wellness core? Does anyone use that?

:o did u say dry?

yup you did.

if u have a timed feeder, u can add a bit of water to keep it fresh.
Or use ice cube trays of frozen wet fuds into the bowls, and thru the day it will melt off and snack is served! :-D

I just have regular bowls and when we're gone for the day, we top it up and add bit of water, it stays fresh pretty good, mine eat very little snacks thru the day, and they know its there.

remember also, giving dry takes longer to clear out, so if u come home by preshot time, u may have a dry-food-higher than normal BG.
Wellness Core dry is one of the lowest, but its still dry kibble.
