Good morning!

That must have been some party on Friday night!! Yesterday, Leo spent the whole day lounging around on the beach, barely even getting his tail wet!! It was so out of character for him, he must have been exhausted from eating and dancing and meeting up with all his friends. :)

I suppose he also could have been bouncing from a low that I missed on Friday night since I forgot to set my alarm and didn’t wake up to test him.:rolleyes:

He’s in the lagoon this morning so I’ll just follow him around and see what he’s got planned for today.

In the meantime, my DH and I are continuing to dig trenches, removing old earth and plants, and replacing the old earth with new earth and replanting the plants. Can’t wait till this job is finished, it’s extremely hard manual work!! :banghead: :stop::p

Wishing you all a happy Sunday and happy healthy kitties!! :bighug::bighug::bighug:

How are the moths? Any better? (I think it was moths)

Nice to see Leo back in "his" lagoon after all that partying....safe surfing cutie pie !!

Dig slowly and enjoy, it's not going anywhere:)

Merrow, merrow, from Leo!

I thought they were moths when they first appeared a few nights ago. They looked like moths but after I got a close up I realized they aren't moths. Apparently, they're Midges. It's all new to us, we've never seen them before and in such numbers!! One of my neighbours said they come every spring and hang around for about a week. Thank goodness they don't bite!! And thank goodness there have been less and less since the other night. I've since ditched the hazmat suit and as long as they don't land in my hair, I'm good!! :joyful:

We're working hard but still enjoying the weekend, and my DH is home all this week!! Bonus!! Can you say "honey-do list" ;)

Gentle scritches to Yoyo and a huge hug to you. Hang in there Debra. :bighug:

Wow...I just looked up midges....yukk:eek:....they say they are small like flies and mosquitoes, but in the picture some looked small and some looked big. It said that they BITE!! It also read that they are in Florida:nailbiting::nailbiting:....there are so many bugs by me that some nights the bugs just swarm around the flood lights and I have to run right through them to get the dogs out....I'm moving:joyful:
