I'm back in the same position as yesterday!!! I have to leave for a few hours and Squallie's numbers dropped below 50, this time! I have carbed him all to
hell (please forgive the language) and gotten him up to 57; I will test in another 20 minutes to see where he is, but if he's still up I have to leave. I'm so worried about it, I am terrified he'll drop again after I leave. :nailbiting::nailbiting::nailbiting::(:(:nailbiting::nailbiting::nailbiting:
 
It is ok. Just leave out some HC food and try your best to get back as fast as you can! :bighug::bighug:

Has Squallie earned a reducie yet? I know with him, you are waiting for 3 times under 50 to do a reduction.
 
That's exactly what I'm doing! Fortunately he should also just naturally start rising on his own now, too. Fingers and paws crossed! Thanks for the support and encouragement. :bighug:
Yes, I'm pretty sure this is his 3rd drop under 50 at this dose.

It is, and it isn't. Between now and the other two drops, you had some "skinny" shots, so technically, the count starts over when you resumed 2.75 (that is, unless there were some since AMPS on 6/3, as your SS isn't up to date). That said, you know Squallie best, and if you had trouble bringing him up, I'd say he wants that reducie. :D

Tricia, I don't know what to do about his dose. Seems like he drops awfully low on this dose, but last time I tried a reduction by 0.25 he started rising and kept on going! :banghead: Is it acceptable to just go back to "skinnying down" the 2.75 dose?
 
I don't see why you shouldn't try a skinny 2.75. If it doesn't work after a few cycles, you can try something else. A skinny dose would certainly be preferable to having to "carb him up" often. In any event, give any new dose the proper time to settle in and for the depot to recalibrate.

Yo Deputy Squallie, good job on mending the shark nets, but it's time to spend more time closer to shore!

Thanks, Ella, I think that's what I will do tonight and then see where we are tomorrow. Of course, I don't have to go anywhere tomorrow so it will probably be a perfectly humdrum day, lol.

I've definitely seen this phenomenon to be true, and it is now a running joke with my friends. Samba only surfs when I'm trying to have fun haha... I guess it's his way of joining in on the party :cat:

Lol! Squallie does it when I have to be gone, when I have no choice but to leave him. If I had any options I would stay with him! Silly cats! :p:cat:

There're still some problems with it, but she's working on it.
Yes, so far he seems to be doing okay on the skinny dose, but I'm kind of wishing I had just taken him down to 2.5. He's still dropping pretty low. But I also don't want a failed reduction, sooo...:rolleyes:

I'll keep my eyes out for the package and let you know when it gets here. The cat I want to try it on just bit my toe tonight (I was sitting cross-legged and my son had scruffed him for me-it's always at least a two-man job with this cat, and the first try is almost always a failure!) when I tried to apply his Revolution - it was funny, I just watched him slowly turn his head and bite my toe, couldn't believe what I was seeing, I guess, lol. 'Course, the toe hurts like a like a _itch, now! Still haven't gotten the Revolution on him, either, lol. Little stinker.:cat:
