Kitten had puked this morning at breakfast directly into her automatic feeder! It was a big surprise at dinner time when I went to reload it. I was out tonight so I gave Kitten purebites at +2 and she had her normal snacks at +2.5 and +5. I didn’t want to risk her going low if I wasn’t home. Her numbers today weren’t too bad. I’m curious does bouncing ever stop? Or does it become “less” bouncey? I wonder as her numbers weren’t too high in comparison to other days she’s bounced, so was today a bounce (but a lesser bounce)? Hopefully that makes sense!

Hoping everyone is staying safe and well!

Unfortunately it's ECID (each cat is different) on the bouncing. Some take a little time, some take a lot, some just bounce less high. I was thrilled when Neko stopped bouncing to reds after a year. Eventually she bounced to yellows. About all you can do is try to get them to doses where they see as much normal blood sugar numbers as possible, so their body gets used to them again.

Thank you! I am always trying to sort out a pattern in Kittens BG#s and I was hoping maybe today was a bounce as she does love to bounce after hitting green! I am really hoping that she will start seeing more consistent lower numbers. I will be working from home until likely the fall if not the winter so I have time to get her regulated.. hopefully! (pandemic blessing in disguise!). Glad Neeko bounces in the nicer colour of yellow now :cat:
