Hello everyone!

Today Juno woke up almost in the 90's , but I hope that's mainly because he had been eating before. I always leave out a bowl of food during the night for my cats to eat whenever they want. I will update the SS later today after work. Anyway, OTJ trial day 4 and so far still in the greens .

Have a nice day!
Cristina

So far so good Cristina - paws crossed that Juno stays in the greens. He's doing really, really well!

Have a good day at work.

Anne

Anna, Elise and Peter: Thanks for the visit ;-). Juno's levels dropped to 76, but on average his BGs values are rising up compared to the first OTJ trial days. I hope his little pancreas can keep up only by itself all the work .

Christina, with meter variance, those AMBG numbers are all generally considered the same. Don't worry about these small upticks, anything green is good!
If you need reassurance that all will still work out, look at Shelly/Jersey's SS. Her numbers went up for 5 days starting on day 1 of OTJ but then came down and stabilized. Or look at mine, Boots never had more than 5 green AM/PMBG numbers. I was worried about going through the trial with so many blue numbers but I think it was Julie who told me that as long as Boots was in the normal BG range that I should trust in the protocol. If you notice the first 4 days of his trial, his blue numbers trended up to 127 but his pancreas always kicked in during the mid cycles and brought the numbers down to green. So even with 90% blues and the rise in the first four days, he still made it. And as you can see now his mid-cycle numbers are the lowest they've ever been since OTJ because his pancreas is humming along.
Juno earned the trial, so have trust in the system and it will work out. :-D

Juno's look great. Most of us didn't have bloodwork done before diabetes so we don't really know what "normal" is for our kitties.

Happy Day 4!

Hi Dwight, Wendy, Mariko and Jen! Thanks a lot your visit and support!

Dwight, thanks for the feedback. I do trust a lot on the protocol. He has 81% of probability to get into remission, so I guess it's pretty high.

Oh my Wendy those gifs are too crazy :-D.
