Does anyone else's cat do this?
I just got out of the shower and when I turned the water off, I hear this awful noise, and J.D. has his favorite toy in his mouth and is making noises ..kind of meowing and purring over the toy in his mouth.. He does this if I take a shower and close the bathroom door and if I go outside with Ginger and don't take him, and sometimes when I go to bed and he didn't see me leave. It's like he's a little overly dependant?

My Mickie carries, what I call her baby, around in her mouth with much meowing going on, finally she'll find me and drop the toy and look at me.

For some reason that made me chuckle! I dont think they would EVER want to admit they may be dependant upon us!

Awwww, J.D. wanted a toy to self-soothe. He misses you when you shut the door! I had a civvie many years ago and if I shut the bathroom door would literally put her paws around the doorknob and hang on for dear life. A friend was watching and said she was dangling with her feet off the floor. I suspect she was annoyed since she would routinely open bi-fold doors, cabinets and drawers.

Very nice blue surf for J.D. today!
If I don't close the door completely, Shadow barges in with a great deal of noise...he pushes the door and it sounds as if a 500lb gorilla is blasting in the room. They seem to have bathroom fetishes or something...need to see what's going on behind closed bathroom doors! :lol:
