i said i was going to post when anything big changes… but so far only small changes.

landos numbers are not predictable right now.
His energy and alertness seems to be 85-90% of his “normal” YEAY
he still has neuropathy, but is no longer knuckle walking.
BMs are not regular, but no diarrhea tornado anymore.
He ventured outside of the one room he has been in this whole time ( to check things out)
Still only wants to eat the super high phosphorus food

still on .25u
Still on potassium
Going back in for a blood panel next week
Starting mirilax back up 1/4 tsp 1x a day
I bought that neuropathy drug zophaline? Will begin AFTER blood results

If you are looking for it next time many menber have been using the this, it's so much cheaper and it's the same
I have used it for Tyler when he had neuropathy
One I got him good numbers and giving the Methy-12
I gave it everyday and he's back to running, jumping
The only difference with the Zobaline it has folic acid in it 200 mcg

So what I did was buy 400 MCG at my supermarket cut the in half and crush them up
The vitacost brand are capsules so you just have to sprinkle them on the wet food and of course add water and mix it up real good.

Other members have posted that they didn't even buy the folic acid and the Vitacost still worked on their cats that had neuropathy

Here's the link it's tasteless and what they don't need they will pee out because it's water
soluble

https://www.vitacost.com/vitacost-vitamin-b-12-methylcobalamin-5000-mcg-100-capsules-6
14.49 for 100 capsules
Give one a day

I think i may have some questions for you about the suplement if my vet doesnt feel its necessary

Ohh, I'm happy to see this good news! Go Lando, you can do it! I have used the Zobaline for my first diabetic, Mopem, I felt it really helped his neuropathy. It was pricey, so if what Diane Tyler's Mom recommended works just as well, I'd say it's worth a try. Will continue to send positive thoughts, and healing energy! Thanks for the update!! :bighug::bighug::bighug:

I started giving Indi Zobaline when we realized neuropathy was what was going on with him, we were lucky and saw improvement within a few weeks.
Our vet told me that it would not work for him as he didn’t think he had a deficiency and told me I was wasting money

I think the supplements are always worth a try, the vets seem to be resistant/uneducated/have lack of experience about them. I always try to run new things past my vet, make sure it won't hurt, and then do what I want. I found the advice on this board worked to fix Mopem's neuropathy, and eventually is what got him in remission. Glad Indigo is better as well.
