Hello everyone!

Third day of the OTJ trial and so far still in the greens :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen:. He's now closer to the 80's without the juice, but it should still be okay, I guess.

Juno has been having great numbers lately, but just out of curiosity I wonder how likely is the cat BG levels to start rising up to the pink or red range? Has anyone experienced/seen this in a OTJ trial?

Congrats on Day 3, Cristina!

I wouldn't worry about the 81. Jersey fluctuated from 31 to 81 during her OTJ trial. Juno's looking great! :mrgreen:
 
I don't stop in here as much anymore but I had to comment on a very nice SS.

I think we might be seeing a new name added to the list shortly. Good job.

I've seen only a couple of failed OTJ trials from kitties that followed the TR protocol and it was more of a rise into blue/yellow. It's not that big a deal, it just means they needed insulin support for a bit longer before trying the trial again. I have seen one red in a trial kitty, but it was a kitty that had to go on a road trip and he hated travel. But brought it back down to green without juice later that day. :mrgreen:

Wendy, thanks for the info. That's very encouraging. I'm very happy about Juno's progress, but I also feel that I have learned so much about this illness that I feel I should help other diabetic kitties. Btw, I love those 3 kitties doing the hula dance :-D :lol:.
 
I wanted to check on you. And here is Juno on Day 4 of his trial now. Yay!!! :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen:
 
Hi Janet!

Thanks a lot for your concern. Today Juno woke up almost in the 90's, but still green :mrgreen:. Perhaps he had been eaten before and his levels raised a little bit. I will check later how he's doing after work.
