not a good day for my bailey today.hes back to being miserable,not eaten much. numbers have crept back up again. I wonder if its because the antibiotics he was on have worn off.
il ring the vet first thing to see what he suggests and to book him in for his next lot of tests. I do hope they find whats wrong.im almost scared he doesn't find anything if that makes sense cos my poor iccle guy cant go on like this.i hate seeing him so miserable.
in the meantime am I ok to up him to 9.5u tonight?

Poor Bailey. Please pass on some scritches for me. I hate the feeling of helplessness when you know they aren't feeling good and there isn't anything you can do. :YMHUG: You might want to ask the vet about another type of pain relief you can have on hand in case you need it.

I think you are fine for an increase tonight. When do you go back to work Anna?

i'm so sorry he's feeling yucky.

If the antibiotics were appropriate for his infection, which it seemed like they might have been because he was feeling better, then i don't think the infection would reappear after the ABs are over.

Looking at his spreadsheet - yes, i'd increase the dose to 9.5.

I concur with the others about a dose increase to 9.5u this evening. I hope that he feels better soon, and I'll be sending tons of healing vines your way.

thanks guys. will do.hes had lots of snuggles today off mamabean hes just had a good tea so I feel better that hes wanted to eat.

I go back to work tomorrow wendy but my shift isn't too bad.im away 4 hours either side of my lunch hour where I come home to give him his juice and check on him.off Tuesday and the same shift Wednesday.thank goodness!
phone call to the vet again tomorrow even if its just ffor me to get him some decent painkillers.my poor babe!
