Today, was pretty good. Getting things sorted to bring Eddie to dental specialist. Got confirmation from them today that we can proceed and his appointment is on June 5th at 9:30 am so I'll have to leave here around 5:00 am to get there.

The only down side of today is that Eddie has some constipation. Looks like he wants to go but not much happening. So, I gave him PEG in his food and hope that gets some action. Not sure how long it takes but I know from his restlessness that he'd like to go. I realize while he was at the clinic they didn't report that he had any BM.

@Wendy&Neko any other suggestions? You'll note he's pretty consistent with the 300s range in BG. I've been hesitant to increase given all the variables and wanting to keep his on an even keel. What do you think?

You'll note he's pretty consistent with the 300s range in BG.

We don't decide what to do with doses based only on preshots. No clue how low this dose is taking him. You'll have to start getting mid cycle tests before making any changes.

Hopefully the PEG will work. For variety I used to give either a bit of virgin coconut oil or unsalted butter. Make sure he's getting plenty of liquid mixed in with his food. He still getting periodic fluids?

The one downside of ondansetron is that it can be constipating. I'd keep it up but also step up the PEG or whatever else you need to give.

Actually I do realize no increase without more data, I think I was just speculating about his numbers.

Hoping for PEG to do some work. Will try the coconut oil, too, thanks!
