GA 05/30/2015 Gracie is gone

This past week, Gracie was at the vet with pancreatitis and dehydration.
I brought her home last night to assist feed. I couldn't get the subQ fluids to work. I was able to get in about 9 mL of food in, and several syringes of water, but this morning, she couldn't lift her head. She passed on the way to the vet.

I have been following your valiant efforts to try to help Gracie. You did so much and more for your beloved Gracie, but her body was just too weak and exhausted, and she chose to give up the fight.

May your happy memories of Gracie give you strength and peace as you go through this sad time.

RIP Gracie..fly high and land softly and let your Mom know you have arrived safely.

Oh BJ, I am so sorry to hear this. I remember when you first saved her and brought her home to your other family of kitties. And how carefully you worked to keep her safe, comfortable and well. You did a very good thing and gave her months of love and health she wouldn't have had otherwise. Fly free, Gracie.

I am so very sorry for your heartbreak. I, too, had been following Gracie's struggle and had prayed so hard for a happy ending. May the many good memories you have of Gracie bring you some comfort during this dark time. No one could have done more. My very deepest sympathy--I know how much saying goodbye hurts.

So sad to hear that Gracie passed away. She was lucky to have such a wonderful mom who cared for her so much. Thoughts and prayers are with you.

Oh BJ, I'm SO SO sorry it was Gracie's time to cross...but so very thankful she was a part of your family for the time she so needed it. BIG HUGE LOOOOOOONG HUG...

Oh, BJ, I'm so sorry for your loss of Gracie. You gave her such wonderful care and such a good life. What a blessing you were to each other. Please know I'm thinking of you and sending lots of hugs.

I'm so very sorry to hear of the loss of Gracie. She was lucky to gave found you and you to gave had her in your life.
 
BJM, I am so, so sorry to hear this news. I know that you are heart broken and my thoughts, prayers and healing energies are with you and your family.

Gracie, may you be in Catnip Heaven, romping through fields of mice and birds, playing and kitten like again. Always in our hearts and thoughts. May you be Mommy's angel now like she was for you.

Oh BJM! I am so sorry to hear Gracie has gone to Rainbow Bridge. My heart goes out to you! You were a GREAT MOM to Gracie and if she could send you a message I'm sure it would be this......

Here you have been, so generously and tirelessly helping others like myself, while dealing with your own cat issues. I am so sorry. I had no idea about Gracie. I do know, without question, Gracie had the best life a cat could ever wish for and no pet parent more devoted than you.
 
I to am unfortunately unfamiliar with yours and Gracies story of how you were brought together, and of the journey you shared, as I am fairly new to this site, but you have been of tremendous help to both myself and my little Molly, and you have played a great part in her recent remission otj, and you give so much of your time and knowledge to help others, that Gracie must have had a great life shared with you, and my heart goes out to you at this incredibly sad time, and I hope we can give you some support and comfort back to you. HUGS
