Good morning Iorwen, I'm glad that Tray is feeling much better this morning.. That can be a scary thing when they get into something that we don't know might be dangerous.. I went online and found this page of toxic plants.. The only thing with tea in it that i could find was tea tree oil from the Australian Tea Tree leaves.

Keeping paws crossed for Tray that he gets better real soon and that it is indeed just an infection.

It's so good to hear that Tray is feeling better.

The tea plant is Camellia sinensis. I didn't see it on any list of plants toxic to cats.
 
So glad Tray is feeling better and waking you up with loud purrs, music to the ears! That was quite a scare! Enjoy the rest of the weekend.
 
So happy to be reading your condo tonight and seeing that Tray is feeling much better. I'm sure you are so relieved! Even if it isn't toxic, I think plants in general can make a cat sick. Simon always throws up whenever he chews on anything green. Bupe is a wonder drug, isn't it?!
