Congrats on the green. Yes feed a little hc if there’s a drop under 50. That will call for a reduction to 2.0 units. Not feeding could lead to a hypo. You would then retest in 20 minutes. Please read the yellow sticky on handling low numbers. It was the first thing I printed out and kept by my computer.
 
I agree with above! Anytime you see a number lower than 50, you'll want to take action - feed and test again soon - within 20 minutes as suggested is a good idea. Sometimes these kitties decide to drop and then they just keep going down...we have to help steer them away from those lower numbers and avoid those dangerous hypo situations. Luci loves to pull this one on me...and I respond by setting my timer to get another test; feeding her medium carb food to give her a little bump; and sometimes I add that to a dab of LC. Your best weapons are food and staying on top of the testing to make sure Kitten stays safe.
