Sorry, only just seeing this. Glad @tiffmaxee was around.

If Dolly had been 51 early in the cycle (+1.5 or 2 or thereabouts), you may have needed HC. But later in the cycle, MC is enough to bring her up.
I checked her at 1.5 due to vet appointment. So big a drop after something that stresses her out so much. Actually the 89 at 1.5 was strange, her onset isn’t until + 2. I don’t know when her nadir is from one day to the next. You have had some busy days with Bandit, I don’t know if it was yesterday or the day before. Too bad she can’t hold the greens and blues every day. Not the limes.

What was Dolly's vet visit for?
Her urinalysis, she had full blood panel on Sunday ( last one was in March) and as usual, empty bladder. I was looking for a reason for her numbers being erratic and although eating well, a bit sluggish and in pain from her hip, now not sure the Adequan is helping. I tried to give her pain meds last night and she had a full blown panic attack, first in a long time. She does not like having anything put in or near her mouth. She was off the charts for the free t4 test, over 100. I don’t have the new labs yet but the doctor called and said that is now half of what it was. Now does not believe she is Hyperthyroid. Suzanne, I could talk about Dolly forever as you know. Sorry. How is Darcy doing today? I know you’ve both had a rough go of it for awhile now. I normally check his ss in the am and then write to you. Today I was caught off guard with Dolly’s BG. No danger just a steady low for her.

Some days I feel I know and understand the this diabetic journey, more often, I feel I know and understand very little.
Sending loving prayers to you and Darcy and all your others furry children. Hugs!!

Hope Dolly doesn't have hyper-T. :( She really made you work today, tho, with those numbers. That's good, shows the insulin is doing its thing! Now let's work on those blue preshots, Miss Dolly. :cat:

Saw your note about the bupe. I should be glad that Ruby is so amenable to me sticking things in her mouth.

Hope you're doing ok, Adrienne! Big hugs to you and scritches to the pretty kitty! :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Thanks Katherine, negative on the hyperthyroidism, removed it from her signature. Hope Ruby is doing okay, eating, pooping, happy, cuddling and lovey. I don’t think Dolly is feeling very good today, sleepy, terribly congested. The worries never end. Have a good rest of your evening Katherine. Big hugs

our kitty Funny Face was hyperthyroid among many other things. We got hers under control pretty quickly with the transdermal meds. Everything should be transdermal. :):bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:
