Tray is not feeling well, he didn't eat last night and only licked his food this morning and had a few treats. He seems to maybe have a furball stuck since he's been licking his lips and trying to bring something up, but so far just some spit has come out. I had to go to work so my Dad said he'd be by to come check on him. I'm worried about the not eating. Hope he manages to eat something while I'm gone.

Those hairballs are yucky....maybe offer him some oil from a can of tuna? I have also heard that rubbing a bit of vaeline on the paws will cause them to lick it off and lubricate themselves in that way. Either might help eliminate the hairball if that's what is going on. Good that you asked your Dad to stop by....
