Thank you, Wendy. All day long I was excited about going, packing, getting gas, etc. and now that I'm sitting here looking at them all (Eddie, Blue, Stevie, Ollie [the cats] and Max [dog]) and they're looking at me I don't want to leave them.

Anyway, the petsitter came over and I made a point of showing her how precise she has to be drawing up insulin. I mean she's done it before but I appreciated that she humoured me to come over and have another lesson). I'll be checking him in the morning and giving him his insulin before I go.

Phew, I didn't think it was going to be this hard to leave.
