Increased this morning from 5.75 to 6.25! Hope he does very well on this new dose!

Yesterday was a nice but busy day with my 95yo uncle. He wanted to do his groceries, go to the cimetery to put new flowers and shop for a few pairs of pants!! It's a 3 hour drive just to get there and as I want to be back on time for PM shot, it's always a bit rushing but really pleasant !

Wishing everybody a quiet and relaxing Sunday and a safe surfing day for our kitties!
 
Hope the new dose kicks ass.

So nice to take your uncle out on his errands. I get really frustrated when I take my dad out. He is so indecisive we always come back with nothing then he complains because he doesn't have what he wants. The problem is he wants what was made 50 yrs ago and can't understand why he can't get it now.

I can imagine your frustration, it must feel like you're doing all this for nothing !:( That's often the problem with old people, I'm lucky my uncle is not like that at all!

Sounds like you had a really nice day with your uncle yesterday. I love hearing stories about people helping their older family members, even if it doesn’t quite fit into their schedules. you’re a really good person :)
 
How come you increased by .5 & not .25?

My uncle is so nice; too bad he lives that far!..
 
I used to take my aunt grocery shopping every week. She always had the same things on her list. After she had to move to an adult care facility we cleaned out her house and found her kitchen cupboard full of the canned peaches she had bought every week! I don't think she ate any of them!

Work that increase, Ti-Mousse!

Ella, you made me laugh so much!! My uncle often has the same things also on his list and when I put his groceries away, I wonder why he bought all those Jello, cookies, fruit and vegetable juices as he already has plenty in his cupboards, but they were "on special"! :joyful:
Hope so much Ti-Mousse's increase starts working! :D
 
A couple of evening before bed tests missing...good luck with the dosecrease. Remember, cats on Levemir may nadir later in the cycle, he may be up to something tonight with that increase.

If you look at my SS, you'll see that most of the time there are before bed tests unless I'm not there! The last two days some tests are missing as I was not home.
That's why his increase which should have been done a few days ago was postponed to today, to make sure I was home and able to monitor properly!
Thanks for the good luck; tonight I should be testing in an hour from now! :)
