Morning Deb, I just took a look at your spreadsheet and can understand your frustration. It seemed like you were seeing green nadirs all the way down to 4.25, so why haven’t the recent increases taken him down to the greens again? I do not know the answer. ECID and I guess this is Sly’s way of asserting his individuality. Does he look and act like he feels good most days? If so, that’s a win in itself.

I really don't know what to think honestly, @Karen and Chispa

I mean, I definitely think he gained a little weight back, but like you said he seemed to do great at 4.25 for awhile, but maybe the fact that I waited to increase when he started to trend higher has some play.

He's not even coming down at all right now and I legit want to cry.

He seems ok, but I can tell his BG being high is definitely making him more lazy and probably tired.

I am torn if I should increase tonight, instead of waiting until the morning.

I'm also curious about this vial of insulin I opened about 7 or so days before I had to start bringing the dose up.

Although he did have a green blue streak 4 days ago.

I just can't stand these pinks, I am beside myself. :banghead:

Ya, I was going to ask if your insulin is okay?
Mikan is having a strange pattern and even though there is no really evidence that the vial had a problem, I just decided to go for a new one. Just in case. I don't see anything different so far, but I just had to try something.

It's so discouraging... I feel like he's never going to break this bounce, it's terrifying.

Deb, he will come down. I think that sometimes, cats get into a stuck point where their system resists everything we do. I feel that Mikan is in one of those right now too. Numbers don't make sense and it makes us feel helpless. Let us take one day at a time. Look at the beginning of his SS. It was all black and bright red. He has come away - He will come down for you, Deb. Patient pants, we need to keep putting on...

Thanks Kit, your support means so much to me! I will keep the faith!

In the meantime, he has discovered that our bed is a giant cushion, and he's been getting my comforter nice and hairy! :cat::bighug:
