05/19 Lisa. Going To Work A lot. Need Advice


I need your advice with my schedule. Turns out I will start working on my old job in the weekends too. It is going to be variable, but I may work in all morning or all day. I will be able to shoot am and pm. But in the am my mom will be able to feed but I may not be at home to test at all. How can I manage this?
Also, my mom said she is interested in learning how to test. If I manage to teach her, what is the minimum number of tests she needs to do after shooting and at what time?
I don't know if my mom will manage, because she doesn't see well and she is afraid of blood
 
She is in higher numbers overall. A combination of steroids + bouncing + (probably) not enough insulin. If you could test, we could increase the dose based on TR (every 3 to 5 cycles).
If your mom can get even one test - say at +3 - that would be a big help!

Please share your work schedule for the rest of this week again. Let's see how we can manage around that.
 
Wednesday (today) 13.30 - 21.30
Thursday 9.00 - 14.00
Friday 13.30 - 21.30
Satuday (most probably) 15.00 - 21.00
Sunday all day

Shooting time is 10am and 22pm.
I will show my mom how to test today, not sure if she will manage.
 
I would rather keep the same dose until this weekend because of my schedule.
Also, there is a possibility I may not work at all during the weekdays.
Also, I would like to ask if I can slowly move shooting time from 10 to 11, becase on Sunday evening I may be late?

Right now, her numbers are on the higher side and she doesn't need a lot of testing. But ideally, we want to increase her dose and get her to see better numbers. On the other hand, her numbers may improve dramatically once the Surolan is stopped and I think that's at the end of this week?

Looking at your schedule, you can test today (Wed), Fri and Sat. Tomorrow (Thu) you can get a test after you come back from work, if your mother is not successful.
Try and see if your mom can learn to test. It will be a big support for you if she can. If not possible, we will see how to manage...

So you will be working on weekends and not on weekdays?

Can you mom shoot at your usual time on Sunday night? 11pm would mean you are up really late to get even a +2!
 
She didn't take surolan on 10/5, so I start counting from 11/5 am and she will take it until next Tuesday 25/05 pm.

I will let you know how it goes with my mom.

Yes my mom can shoot on Sunday evening at 10 and I will be home by 11pm, however, I am not sure if she can test before shooting. Is this ok?

I don't know what time zone you are on compared to me but it sounds like you are only working for 5 hours tomorrow. That is good. Get some sleep and post again tomorrow. The good folks on this site will help you.
