She is currently on Bupe as of Sunday evening - I have been easing her into her dose so that I could see how she reacts - the vet had not prescribed this drug before so i wanted to make sure that she could take that dose - they prescribed .3 ml - I gave her .2 this morning because she was panting. I think that may explain the sligh rise in bg numbers (heard in Canada sometimes Bupe is in a glucose base - don't know why and the vet didn't have the info page on it to give me with ingredients, as it was dispensed from a pharmacy in Toronto and shipped here) I am a bit concerned about this occasional breathing out her mouth - is it a pain response or should I be having them check for asthma or something.....? It really has just started with this tooth breaking off, and when she has her meds, it subsides....

Still waiting for the quote from Guelph - was told it would be AT LEAST $1000 to have it done , which I dont' have - don't know what I am going to do..... but the vet here would not do the surgery because of her acro, blood glucose irreg. and heart murmur etc. In the meantime - still on anti-biotics and bupe and then will be checked out again this week at vet to see how tooth site is doing... I'v looked at it - no swelling or redness - that has to be a good sign right?

Leslie,
I'm sorry Bayley has a tooth ache. J.D. sends her his love and ciber snuggles.
When J.D. had his dental, they actually ended up charging me less than the quote, even though he had 6 extractions.
I hope you can work something out, like payments. I hope Bayley feels better with the bupe.
