J.D. is feeling better this morning. Last night he was acting kind of unresponsive again.. like he couldn't hear me and just kind of blah. Which could have been because his BGs were rising so fast, I guess, but I thought he could be having a flare up of his cronic pancreatitis, so I gave him 0.05 of buprenex, which made him not walk so good, and all woozy.
He did purr a lot when we went to bed and I woke up with his whole body laying across my face so I could barely get my nose out to breath. He was purring nicely this morning, too.

Anyway, this morning he seems to be acting better. I felt him brushing against my legs in the bathroom when I was blow drying my hair and brushing against my legs when I was in the kitchen getting coffee. So, not just laying around acting blah this morning.

After test, shot and 1st Breffis, I took the cats for a short walk, and again J.D. seemed better this morning. So, fingers crossed. The kitties got some boiled chicken as a treat to hold them over until their 2nd Breffis.

As far as testing to see if he did go down in numbers yesterday (since he was 207 at PMPS), big sigh, well, I was supposed to have Saturday off this week as my one and only day off this week, and now I'm working it (and it's a "midnight" shift :roll: )
So, J.D. will come to work with me on Saturday from 1:30pm to 11:30pm, and then Sunday from 10:30am to 7:30pm, and then it's back to the usual grind all next week, and then Finally next weekend I get 3 days off again.

Hopefully, he'll start having some better numbers at night time, when I am home to test.

Dyana, so sorry that JD's not feeling well. It must be very worrying as you have to leave him at home when you go to work. Hope as he feels better today & his bg will slowly come down

Thank you so much. That is very sweet of you.
I think if I give him more bupe tonight (which I'm hoping I don't have to) that I will give him less of a dose, as I don't like it when he walks all wobblily.

Hope J.D. feels better. I laughed about the way you woke up this morning with his whole body across your face. Reminded me of my bed in the morning. Willow lays on my hair if I don't pull it back, and the Stinky Puppy comes up in the morning and throws herself down on my shoulder or head.

J.D. seems off again tonight.

When I came home from work, I fed the cats, and Ginger ate 1 and 1/2 licks and left and J.D. ate maybe 1/3 of his 1/4 can of FF. Later I brought bowls out to them outside on the porch steps with some LC mixed with MC and they both ate some of that, but not all.

J.D. walked around some outside, but he's still just not as active as normal.

When we came back inside, I gave him 0.02 of bupe, and since his appetite is off, I gave him 1/4 cypro, and raised his ondansetron from 1/4 to 1/2 a 4mg pill again.

I mixed up some more MC mixed with LC and some water, and J.D. walked away from it.
Later, I took the can to his bed where he was sitting, and he started eating it, so I put a 1/2 teaspoon in a bowl and he ate most of it ...huh.

Hopefully, he'll feel better tomorrow.

So, if you have any vines to spare, J.D. could use some.
 
Dyana, sending some healing vines pronto over to JD tonight. Eat little man, mamma bean is trying to help you.
My two black and white kitties are also sending over some snowflakes to yours.
