Today was day 7 on this dose. He's done very well on it. I think we can decrease back down to 2U, but I'm scared to get disappointed again. We've been up and down between 2-2.25 so much lately

Hi Karolina, I can't see any data on the SS after the AM cycle of 5/11.

Do you use callipers for measuring the dose?
He does look good and has earned a reduction to 2U. Why not give it another day or two and then attempt a reduction. He might just decide to work the reduction this time (paws crossed!).

I just eyeball it. No calipers for me.
I'll wait and see how he does tomorrow and Wednesday in the AM. If he's lower on Wednesday morning I might reduce cause I'll be gone overnight for work Wednesday night so I don't have to worry about him when noone is home to watch him. Plus I'll have the sitter come and give him the PM shot on Wednesday and AM shot on Thursday.
2.0 units would be a nicer dose for the petsitter to draw. I like that solution.

Ok so I'll keep him on 2.25 for tomorrow and will reduce on Wed. That would make it easier for her although she's been doing a great job with 2.25 anyways.
Hopefully this reduction sticks
