I find it hard to estimate 1/4 unit, but gave what I think is 0.25 of R at 5:55am this morning after AMPS of L at 5:40am. I am recording the + numbers after the R was given this morning.

He peed and pooped just fine on schedule at 5:00am.

I was thinking what a good boy Jackson is because he was laying (sleeping) in his bed and I said "I have to test you" and get out the glucometer, and he gets up out of bed and jumps onto the couch for his test, even though he hates to be tested.
And then I went into the kitchen for another cup of coffee, and the kitchen garbage can had been tipped over onto the floor. I didn't even hear him do it.. and I've been awake this whole time.

I finally did the R experiment, and hope that someone responds.

I just had terrible tummy problems and need to go to sleep now.

Hope your tummy feels better soon. :bighug:

The overall drop with the R seems a bit much. Normally we like to see no more than a 100 point drop over the R time, or it can set off another bounce. It does look like the R lasts just 4 hours and no more - good to know. Actually, not much change from +3 to +4. It would be worth doing another experiment with this R dose to see if there is consistent action.

Thank you. I will.
It was just a guess at what 0.25 dose was, so may be inconsistant.
Should I do what I did to try for the 0.1 dose? I could count drops that come out of the 0.5 dose consistantly (using colored water) and then when ready measure insulin to the 0.5 line and push out half the drops to get the 0.25? I think I'll practice that.
