After lasts nights low I'm feeling a bit guilty for leaving him and coming home to find him so so low. Wondering if looking at his spreadsheet someone with an experienced eye would have seen the low coming? I'm just thinking about the coming weeks and guessing we're going to have more exciting nights and trying to learn from this experience.

Yikes on that 29! Good catch spotting it and getting him back to safety.

One thing that jumped out at me is that last night's shenanigans were six cycles after his previous lows on the 4th. Not saying he will continue to take 6 cycles to clear a bounce, but do be on alert around that timing. As cats get more used to lower numbers, the length of time to clear a bounce will get less. The other thing to notice is that yesterday's AMPS was twice what his PMPS was, indicating breaking a bounce during the day and a possible action cycle to follow.

Also, with a 29, it's possible you'll see a bit of action in the next few cycles. The depot from the larger 2.0 unit dose can influence 4-6 cycles after a reduction. And that 29 tells you the 2.0 unit depot was way too much. If you see a low preshot, I'd try to be home for a +2 the next few days. On the 4th, he was low by +2, and diving by then on 4/27 as well. If you absolutely can't be home, make sure higher carb food is available.
