Have a good day, Adrienne
Oh no sorry you dropped your insulinI did that once but my vial didn't break and then I ordered pens going forward lol. If I'm reading your SS right, your vial was only a month or so old? This means it probably wasn't the vial (assuming stored in fridge and no floaties) - I think vials start to lose efficacy around 5 or 6 months? I was able to use pens down to the last drop.
Hope the numbers are a sign Molly is feeling better and hope she surfs safelyHave a good day, Adrienne

Thanks Summer! I was happy to see her numbers this morning in the blue. She doesn't have the Libre meter that is attached. Same company but I have the meter that isn't attached to her. I hope her numbers keep improving. Have a great day summerNice AMPS. I see you are using the Freestyle meter. Is that the meter that is supposed to stay on the cat so you don't have to prick them? How is it working for you? I have heard they have a tendency to fall off. Where is yours attached? Sounds like a great meter if it stays on and is accurate.

Those Freestyle Libre meters, Summer, are the ones that are glued onto the cat's skin (a shaved spot) and have a little probe that is inserted under the skin. They measure the glucose in the interstitial fluid in the cat's body. I know some people who like them, but many of those people have their cats rip them off (what self-respecting cat would want that thing on them?) People usually put a little shirt on their kitty to cover up the Libre. I would have to be in dire straits before I put one of those on my cat... mainly because it is a bluetooth device and you scan it with your phone. I don't want RF energy near my cat for an extended period of time (I won't even let them sit close to my phone.)Nice AMPS. I see you are using the Freestyle meter. Good points, Suzanne. My vet said they had one experience with someone who got one and it fell off. It would be wonderful if we could test glucose without the constant pricking but we trudge on.Those Freestyle Libre meters, Summer, are the ones that are glued onto the cat's skin (a shaved spot) and have a little probe that is inserted under the skin. Oh, I know. Since I am a little obsessive about wanting to know Darcy’s numbers all the time... it is so tempting... but they do cost more than just good old test strips too.Good points, Suzanne. The vial was over half gone. But still what a wasteI hope Molly's breathing is better today. Sorry about the vial. Nice start. I hope Molly surfs safely today.

Oh a pregnant one now, so now they won't trap the Siamese kitty, that stinksUpdate on the SPCA: They put a trap out to catch the other cat. But caught a black and white one that's pregnant. Now they can't trap anymore until people adopt more. We have a cat problem there is a least 4 cats. My neighbour told the SPCA there is a lady feeding them and suspect there is a colony of cats.
Yeah I pregnant one. Once the have room they’ll try to catch the Siamese one. It was here this evening we think it’s looking for the black one.Oh a pregnant one now, so now they won't trap the Siamese kitty, that stinks
