Chico is making little but certain progress in regards to little Nora she had no issues whatsoever to adapt to us, which probably got him by surprise hopefully he will soon be as in love with her as we are

Tomorrow we plan to decrease Chico’s insulin dose to 1 drop. Are there any other rules for cats that try for a second remission? For now we have our hopes high

Fabulous Chico with the progress to 1 drop AND towards a second remission! He “window watches” like my Two Socks, our Tuxedo who chose our home as his last year. We got official OK by the neighbor owner, but our boy had already decided. He is still bossed and fully intimidated by Cali who had already explained to us years ago many times that this was a one cat family. Total opposite personalities, but Two Is determined to be a part of this family with equal privileges and attention. Chico seems he will be a “pushover” in no time and will become the loving guardian of little Nora.

Haha, so sweet to read that Chico is not the only one trying to remind us that he is the cat of the house hopefully you’re words will prove to be true

Marina, so sorry that you had to start insulin again but it is great to see how well Chico is doing and how quickly he got back into tight regulation! Fingers and paws crossed that this was just a blip and he sails right through the drop dose to a second remission!!

I also just saw the pics you posted of little Nora. Congrats on the addition to your family! And OMG -- she is soooo adorable!!! I am sure she and Chico will be best buddies soon.

Thank you Jessica for the kind words we hope too that he will go thru the 1 drop smoothly a d we will manage to get him off insulin again.
