Hello everyone! It's been a crazy ride since my last post! I closed on my house, moved in, and now have a lovely wife and an incredibly awesome stepson!
We had some serious issues from plumbing, to my other kitty getting a dental plus 6 extractions, and a CAT Scan for me because apparently high stress makes me feel like I have major stomach problems.
On the upside, my CAT scan came back just fine and doc says it's stress and I need to chill; plus, Marla's doing great! She's had chronic eye boogers from ulcers, as well as sinus problems since she was rescued, 13 years ago. No previous vet could make a lasting impact on her well being, and come to find out, my last vet did not have ANY of her records on file. Ooooooooooooo, I was mad. My new small town vet, put Marla on a B-12 regimen, and she's had clear sinuses and eyes ever since we started the injections!!
Now, to the diabetic bestest buddy... Tyler had some misses here and there, and a little stress from moving.
He's looking incredibly awesome, and I'm wondering if it's time to go OTJ? We could probably go back to what I call 0.01u, but I wonder if it's needed. I'm almost out of insulin and am going to purchase two new pens to have in case we need to continue the dance. Better to have and not need, right?
Please, chime in with your thoughts and suggestions, or just to say hello!
I've missed all of you wonderful people!
