AMPS 313, 12th cycle @1.5u, 2/3PP, 1/8 zantac, 1/4 ondansetron, 1.3oz 10%, 1/32t miralax, sprinkle of sisu
+1 330, 1.0oz 10%, 7 drops kidney liq

Zener is doing fine this morning, maybe just a bit of a bounce from the greens last night. His appy is good. He's done yard patrol. Poo patrol was successful last night but lazy this morning. Conclusion: maybe just a tad less miralax. :roll: :lol: He is not using any piddle pads these days, making it hard to check ketones, so we will need to be a little diligent there. He was having a little trouble walking yesterday but that seems better this morning. Will watch that too.

I got this video the other day of him walking in from the yard, hurrying just a bit to clean up Tillie's bowl - that is unusual for Mr. Z. You can see how he uses his tail to help his balance.

Thinking of punkin and julie today, hope he is feeling better soon from his dental. Congratulations to Ruby and Amy - OTJ today! Sending feel better vines to Morlei. Hope she starts eating. Thinking of everyone in LL. Happy Fursday!

Awww.....Zener is so sweet making a dash for Tillie's bowl! :-D Yes, I see what you mean with the tail. I'm sure Zener will be busy today clearing his bounce. Zener looks great & very Handsome!!! Seems to be doing great!!! Moonie walks strangely due to her neuropathy, but you wouldnt believe how she gets around!! They are amazing arent they? Hugs & Love from us!!

Mr Z looks great with his cat walk! Why you human? You dont have a tail to balance, but we have & we use it!
I think Zener walks fine, much better than my Rosy. Shes still walking on her hocks after finishing the 60 days methB12... :roll:

I know it's an adaptive procedure, but I love that sassy little hitch in Zener's giddyup. It's great is appy has him making a beeline to fuds, even if those particular fuds aren't really his.

@Ann & Maggie - Zener has been a much better eater since BigMac's foot trays arrived! We like to think Zener has divine inspiration! o:-) Zener is on yard patrol at present and has had several picnics tonight already. When he wants to eat about 30 minutes before his PMPS and we are ignoring him, he will go out on the back porch and sit at his picnic table, hoping we get the message! ;-)

@Roni - we call Zener Mr Handome all the time, and he loves it! :-D Zener had this special walk since birth from his CH. Early in his FD diagnosis, before we got him on Lantus, he developed a peripheral neuropathy and that really affected his walking as it was compromised already. He was down on his wrists. We started him on the Zobaline meth B12 and as his numbers got better on Lantus, he got stronger and now his walking is back to the way it was pre-FD. :razz:

@tortie58 - I so wish I had a tail!!! :-D It took several months on the methB12 before Zener's walking improved, that and having better all around numbers on Lantus.

@Ella - ask and ye shall receive, the boy is blue! :-D

@Melissa & Mr T - Zener is following your most excellent advice! :cool:

@Ann & Tess - he's on the way down as requested. He loves the Lagoon, but hasn't sorted out yet how to stay there for very long. :roll:

@Linda - love what you wrote "sassy little hitch in his giddyup"! :lol: A friend of ours, who was a cop, watched Zener walk for the first time and said "that's a swagger any cop would be proud of", so ever since we've called his way of walking his swagger!

While the big guy is out on yard patrol, I quickly threw a few things in my overnight bag for the conference I go to tomorrow morning. Zener DOES NOT like it when one of us travels and will often show his opinion by peeing in luggage. :twisted: So, we always pack when he is outside and hide the luggage in the closet until we walk out the door. I'll only be gone overnight and back Saturday evening. Liz is BIC for just a short time this trip.

Love the video...I love how smart and adaptive critters are. We humans could learn a thing or two!!!

oh LOVE zener's swagger! he is such a cutie pie! and his BGs today look pretty good - not bad at all!

thanks for thinking of us. punkin seems to be doing pretty well. not 100% but passable. :YMHUG:

anne, seems like it's appropriate to say "may you get out on your trip without any pee in your suitcase!" as a little blessing. :lol: have a good trip.

Loved the video - Zener doesn't let anything slow him down. I see what you mean about the tail. incredible creatures our cats!

@julie - Zener loves that he has a swagger, he is very proud! The 1.5u dose has been good for him in the past and we've seen lots more blues and greens, so we are going to try to stay at this dose as long as we can manage the numbers safely without having to carb him like crazy (we're thinking the 3x below 50, or the 1x below 40). Time will tell. :roll: Thank you for my new travel blessing! :lol:

@Michelle & Mannie - Zener is amazing and always finds a way to do what he wants. :razz: Tell Mannie he may be waiting all night, looks like it's a "yellar" evening. I'll check again one more time before bedtime.
